I presented a student poster at the annual convention in Richmond, Virginia on the prevalence of language disorders among justice-involved youth and how countries abroad are implementing roles for SLPs within the system compared to the US.

American Speech-Language-Hearing Association 2023

I presented a 1-hour seminar presentation at the annual ASHA convention. The seminar focused on introducing the justice system to SLP professionals. The presentation also explained why SLPs are needed and what SLP roles would look like within this field. Our presentation was awarded as a "Changemaker Session."

National Black Association of Speech-Language and Hearing 2024
